Weather Alert: Rip Van Winkle’s Journey

Due to predictions of heavy, prolonged rain, Historic Hudson Valley, in accordance with its weather policy, is canceling all performances of Rip Van Winkle’s Journey on Saturday and Sunday, May 23-24, 2026. 

We apologize for any disappointment and inconvenience this may cause.

The Pinkster Festival at Philipsburg Manor will proceed as planned on Saturday, May 23, with modifications that will bring most of its activities under cover from the rain. An Audience with Poe, an indoor experience at Historic Hudson Valley’s Library, will proceed as planned on Saturday, May 23.

Tours of our historic sites, which are open Friday through Monday, will proceed as well.
