Kykuit was home to four generations of the Rockefeller family, beginning with the philanthropist John D. Rockefeller, founder of Standard Oil. His business acumen made him, in his day, the richest man in America. Now a historic site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, this extraordinary landmark has been continuously and meticulously maintained for more than 100 years.

programs. Historic Hudson Valley operates
the visitation program.
Admittance to the estate is by guided tours only. There will be no guided tours in 2020.

National Trust members who purchase tour tickets online receive a 50% refund of their purchase price by presenting proof of membership at the Kykuit Visitor Center.
Historic Hudson Valley offers a $5/ticket discount for visitors who purchase a round-trip Metro-North rail fare from Grand Central to Tarrytown, plus a Kykuit tour ticket in advance online.
