To schedule a school program at any of Historic Hudson Valley’s sites, please email Iris Cohen at
firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
1. Which site and program are you interested in?
2. What grade(s) are the students?
3. What date would you like to visit?
Please have at least two dates in mind in order of preference.
4. How many students will be in your group? How many adults?
Please note that each program has a maximum group size, based on the size of the site and on the activities in a program. This limit is listed under each program. Group limits vary from site to site and even from program to program. The group limits are for the absolute maximum number of participants. No exceptions can be made.
To ensure that each group has a rewarding educational experience, we require at least a 10:1 ratio of students to chaperones. Your group is entitled to one free adult for every 10 students. Additional adults are $10 per person, per site.
5. Do you have students with special needs?
In particular, please let us know of any mobility concerns, special needs for student interaction, or any food allergies. As some programs include food demonstrations, food allergies are important for us to know in advance. The more information you provide about your students, the better our educational staff can tailor their interpretation to meet the students’ needs.
