Archival Collections

Archival Collections
OVERVIEW: The archival collection of Historic Hudson Valley features over
6,000 manuscripts, maps, and graphics spanning the 17th through the 20th
centuries. Each of these items relates to the history and culture of the Hudson
Valley region, with emphasis on our sites and the individuals who once lived
there. The collection is particularly strong in its manuscripts, which include
diverse records associated with the Beekman, Hamilton, Hoffman, Irving,
Philipse, Schuyler, and Van Cortlandt families.
