Historic Hudson Valley, Westchester County’s largest cultural organization, seeks two enthusiastic, computer savvy individuals to join its sales and hospitality team. The Sales Lead sells merchandise in a fast-paced environment while ensuring Sales Associates are delivering positive customer service and engaging in successful selling practices.

Reporting to the Assistant Retail Shop Manager, these are part-time, seasonal positions (April – December) that offer and require a lot of flexibility (weekend, holiday, and evening availability are a must.)

The duties of the Sales Lead include managing cash and revenue procedures including daily register opening and closing and deposit responsibilities, resolving customer issues, monitoring merchandise stock levels and presentation, maintaining floor visual standards, handling emergencies, and setting a positive, enthusiastic, and professional example for staff and visitors.

You must have a friendly manner and experience working with the public in customer service, sales or hospitality. Computer skills and retail experience are required. Experience with a point of sale system is a plus.
