We offer professional development workshops on the subjects of Northern slavery, colonial and New Nation America, and the history of women, both enslaved and free, during the same periods.
Participants walk away with ideas, skills, materials, and knowledge that they can immediately bring into their classrooms.
Our dynamic approach centers new scholarship, inquiry-based learning, and culturally responsive practices. We have extensive experience working with districts, schools, administrators, educators, and experts in fields including social studies, civics, humanities, English language arts (ELA), digital humanities, and more! CTLE credit is available for New York State teachers and teaching assistants.
