The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze: What Our Visitors Say

Pumpkin Planetarium
There’s no better place to experience the magic of an autumn night than at the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze. Van Cortlandt Manor sits along the Croton River and provides the perfect 18th-century backdrop for this annual fall spectacle, where more than 7,000 illuminated jack o’lanterns light up the night! Visitors are blown away by the work and artistry of each hand-carved pumpkin and every year there’s an additional wonder to inspire—a medieval castle, signs of the zodiac, and the Pumpkin Zee Bridge were some of the recent must-see displays. Here’s what some our recent visitors had to say:

“There is SO much to see! I was enthralled with all the designs and creativity. Truly some wonderful works of art.” —Trip Advisor Review

“This was by far one of the most memorable nights I’ve had in 2018. The work that goes into this event is extraordinary. The attention to detail is brilliant!” —Trip Advisor Review
